Meet the Warsofsky Crew
Tell us about your adorable crew! What are your kiddos’ names and ages, and how would you describe each of their personalities in a few fun words?
Dayne is five (turning six in September). He is curious, eager to learn new things, athletic, and incredibly kind. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his outgoing personality really shines.

Pippa is four. She is kind, creative, thoughtful, especially when it comes to her brothers, silly, and full of strong willpower. She definitely knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go for it!
Nash is eight months old and just got his first tooth! He is happy, calm, and cuddly, with the sweetest temperament. He absolutely loves his siblings and is very easygoing—always happy to go with the flow of whatever the day brings.
What are some of your kids’ favorite things to do around Daniel Island? Any go-to parks, treats, or family spots you visit on repeat?
We truly love Daniel Island—it’s hard to pick a favorite! The kids’ go-to parks include Pirate Ship, Fallen Oaks, Etiwan, and “Zipline Park” (their names for them, of course!).

We especially look forward to weekends when we grab breakfast sandwiches or sourdough bagels and head down to the Waterfront to enjoy them together as a family. As the weather warms up, the kids love playing in the fountains and watching all the little crabs near the sand.
And of course, nothing beats a few golf cart laps around the island. We love spotting wildlife—especially the bald eagles and alligators (we’ve even named them: Dada, Mama, Dayne, Pippa, and Nash!).
What are some of their favorite hobbies or activities right now?
Sports are a big part of life for our crew! Dayne loves golf and soccer, while Pippa is all about tennis and gymnastics. They both also love hockey—especially when Dada takes them on the ice at the Coliseum, where the Stingrays play.

They love to skate, with Pippa often dressed in a tutu layered over sweats and Dayne fully geared up and ready to go. Dada already has them running drills…ha!
Nash is loving this stage of life—he enjoys books, park picnics, and is a big fan of solid foods. He’s also in the phase where he tosses anything he can get his hands on (especially food-covered utensils), which keeps us on our toes! He loves watching and playing with his big brother and sister—especially when they roll a ball to him.
Pippa is all about crafting and storytelling. She loves getting fairy hair and accessorizing with jewelry and purses.
Dayne enjoys books (he’s making great progress with reading), puzzles, mini hockey, and his globe. He especially loves learning how things work.
Fun Fact Time! What are a few sweet or silly things about your kiddos?
Dayne has already lived in or visited nine countries thanks to Dada’s career! He loves his educational globe and will happily turn any moment into a mini geography lesson, complete with fun facts. Ask him about the Great Blue Hole!

Pippa was born in Ingolstadt, Germany, and loves imaginative storytelling. She recently created all the props for The Three Little Pigs and uses a mini hockey net as her puppet stage, performances included!
Nash was born right here in Charleston and is what we lovingly call our “trick baby”, he makes you want four more! He’s calm, happy, and full of smiles…just like Charleston itself.
We have to ask—your family has a pretty “cool” connection to hockey! Can you share a little about Dad’s role as Head Coach of the Stingrays?
Yes! David played professional hockey for 14 seasons across North America and Europe, including time in Boston, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, and Colorado. We also spent three wonderful years in Germany, and in 2022, he represented Team USA at the Olympics in Beijing.

After retiring, we chose Daniel Island as our home, and this season he stepped into his role as Head Coach of the South Carolina Stingrays. His goal? Bringing a Kelly Cup Championship to Charleston!
The kids have always loved hockey, but now that they’re older, they really understand and enjoy the game. They love going to Stingrays games, skating, and getting to know the players. Honestly, they could probably name every player and their number, and if you ask Pippa, she’ll tell you the goalies are her favorite!
It is wonderful to get to know the Warsofsky kiddos better and if you spot this crew cruising DI in their golf cart, chasing adventures or heading to the rink—be sure to wave…they’re just getting warmed up!
