DEL RIO PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION UPDATE
From welcoming new neighbors to planning exciting events, DRPOA continues to provide relevant information to enhance the safety of our community and bring Del Rio residents together.
July 2026
Connecting Our Community
We're excited to announce the launch of a new Facebook group created exclusively for Del Rio residents: Del Rio Modesto Neighbors. We invite you to join and help us grow this neighborhood-only communication channel.
As new families continue to discover the beauty of Del Rio and move into our community each month, we encourage everyone to help them feel at home. Please let new neighbors know about DRPOA, invite them to join our Facebook group, and connect them with us at delriopoa@gmail.com. We also love welcoming newcomers with our neighborhood welcome baskets.
Help Welcome New Neighbors
There are several meaningful ways to participate in our Welcome Basket Program:
- Local businesses are invited to contribute branded items, samples, coupons, or gift certificates that showcase the wonderful services available within our community.
- Creative individuals, artisans, and community groups can donate handmade items or thoughtful gifts that add a personal touch to each basket.
To learn more about contributing, please contact Michelle at 209-531-6506.
Upcoming Events: National Night Out
Tuesday, August 4
National Night Out is one of our favorite community traditions, bringing neighbors together while strengthening relationships with local law enforcement and first responders.
This year, we currently have two host locations:
- Serr Court, where the neighborhood joins together each year
- The home of Pauline and Jaimie, located at the corner of Carver and Thunderbird
Representatives from the Sheriff's Department and the Modesto Fire Department will be attending, and we anticipate visits from additional local officials throughout the evening.
Interested in hosting a National Night Out gathering in your area of Del Rio? We'd love to hear from you. Please email delriopoa@gmail.com.
Annual Appeal
Please watch for the DRPOA Annual Appeal letter, which requests a $50 voluntary contribution to support neighborhood programs and beautification efforts.
This year's contributions will help fund:
- Maintenance and enhancement of the Ladd Road and St. John entrance to Del Rio
- Community events such as National Night Out
- The annual Golf Cart Parade
- The DRPOA Annual Meeting
- Ongoing neighborhood improvement initiatives
We appreciate your continued support in preserving and enhancing the quality of life that makes Del Rio such a special place to live.
Looking Ahead: Del Rio Neighborhood Music Crawl
This event will celebrate local musicians and performers while bringing neighbors together for an afternoon of music. There will be a staggered schedule that encourages residents to walk, bike, or use a golf cart between performances while allowing every artist to have an audience.
Sunday, September 20, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Look for the schedule in the upcoming issues of Stroll
