The Education Foundation of Stanislaus County (EFSC) hosted its annual gala fundraiser in October, bringing together over 250 community members, educators, and supporters to raise critical funds for student programs in Stanislaus County. The event raised over $150,000 to benefit programs including Foothill Horizons Outdoor Education School, Imagination Library, Student Events Programs, and the YES (Youth Entertainment Stage) Company.
This year’s gala was held at the home of Tony Bruno, where guests enjoyed fine dining by Green’s on Tenth catering, lively conversation, an exciting auction, and heartfelt reminders of how educational opportunities can shape the future of local youth in Modesto and Stanislaus County. The talented YES Company students performed a skit and a song, showcasing the creativity and energy EFSC programs inspire.
Adding to the spirit of the evening, more than 45 student volunteers helped set up, serve, and assist throughout the gala. Many of these students directly benefit from EFSC-funded programs, making their participation particularly meaningful and impactful for the community of Stanislaus County students.
The success of the EFSC Annual Gala highlights the strength of community support, partnerships, and generosity. “Each dollar raised helps provide access to outdoor learning experiences, performing arts opportunities, and student programs that inspire creativity and confidence in students across the county,” said EFSC Chairperson Rafael Martinez.
