Dorset Village Library: Birds are Dinosaurs with VINS | Tuesday, June 16th at 10:30AM
What did 65 million years of evolution turn the dinosaurs into? Birds! The educators from the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) will introduce us to some live birds of prey and we’ll learn all about their dinosaur ancestry. For all ages. No registration.
Dorset Village Library: Dinosaur Terrariums | Wednesday, June 24th at 2PM
Make a terrarium home for a tiny dinosaur! We’ll provide the supplies, but please bring a large glass jar if you have one at home. For ages 10+. Please register.

The Dorset Theatre Festival kicks off its 49th Season with Deceived by Johnna Wright & Patty Jamieson (based on Patrick Hamilton’s play Gaslight). In fog-bound 1901 London, a young bride begins to notice unsettling changes in her home: dimming lights, footsteps overhead, whispers in empty rooms. Her charming husband insists it’s all in her imagination. But as the strange incidents escalate, so does her dread. Is she losing her mind — or is someone carefully, deliberately unraveling it? Trapped in a house filled with secrets and suspicion, she must cling to her sanity and uncover the truth before it’s too late. If no one is coming to save her… will she save herself? Hike Dorset: Longest Day 5K - Saturday, June 20th at 9AM (arrive early).
Parking at JK Adams will be limited. Overflow will be at Raptor Lane.
$30 Registration fee. Register and complete a liability form before participating. NO STROLLERS! NO DOGS! All funds from the race will go towards the 2026 summer crew.
