Eastover resident, Pamela Dixon Clark, owner of Bloomingdeal's Fine Consignments, recently sat down with Stroll Eastover to tell us about her expanding business, how it started, and how it benefits the community!

"I originally purchased the business in its Ridgeland location in 2010 and relocated it to Jackson in 2012. I've always told my customers that I am the 'third and final owner, and Jackson is the third and final location.' Now that I’ve expanded to Baton Rouge, I’ll have to stop saying that! Jackson will always be my 'baby' where 'my Bloomingdeals' started. The store has flourished here in Jackson and has become such an asset to our community. I’m hoping to continue to attract consigners and shoppers across the United States for years to come."

Pamela added, "I work hard to maintain the store's reputation for trust and quality, treating each item with care and curating an atmosphere that suits all tastes. We are strictly consignment, offering unique finds like furniture, art, and home accessories, with no new market items except our beloved candles. Moving forward, as my reputation grows, I'll be even more selective with consignments and look forward to the exciting additions I'll bring back from upcoming trips, continuing to offer incredible deals to my loyal customers." 

Our Jackson location is open from 10:30-5:30 Monday - Saturday. We accept walk-in/drop-off consignments for small furniture & home accessories on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-5. Large furniture requires an appointment because we ALWAYS have a waiting list. Of course, out-of-town clients can always make an appointment.

Pamela has three children - Kristian Alexander Clark, age 21, Kopelyn Arabella Clark, age 17, and Dixon Thomas Clark, age 12. Kristian is a freshman at the University of Montana in Missoula. Kopelyn is a senior at Jackson Academy and will be attending Ole Miss in the fall. The youngest of the crew, Dixon, is in the sixth grade at Jackson Prep and recently made the Mississippi Dawgs 7v7 travel football team! The Clarks have three family pets - a Maltese named Daisy, a Weimaraner named Paco and an Albino pitbull mix rescue named Kai who is deaf and blind in one eye. 

When Stroll Eastover asked Pamela what they loved most about living in Eastover, she shared, "At the top of the list is most certainly our neighbors who have become more like family than friends. The accessibility and the fact that we do not have to drive very far for much is a huge plus. Our neighborhood is filled with eclectic homes and beautiful landscapes that makes it stand out. Rising property values and the fact that I can always resell furniture AND my home for a profit is a bonus that certainly shouldn’t go unmentioned."
