Landa Eye Center is setting a new standard for personalized eye care in New Braunfels. Originally founded by Dr. Henry Hull in 1976, the business has been committed to helping patients see better, look better, and feel better for nearly half a century.

At Landa Eye Center, we have four seasoned Optometrists who actively care for the eyes of New Braunfels. Dr. Angela Cline, Dr. Henry Hull, Dr. Brittney Smajstrla, and Dr. Patrick Clark collaborate at our practice to bring the New Braunfels community the best eye care in the area. Thanks to Dr. Hull’s many years of exceptional eye care, along with Dr. Cline, they have expanded Landa Eye Center into a much larger facility, just a stone’s throw from our original location in downtown New Braunfels.

Our team also includes an experienced optical team that fits custom precision lenses for our extensive selection of glasses, ranging from simple to sophisticated styles.

Landa Eye Center is proud to provide the following services to our patients: Comprehensive Eye Exams for all ages, Myopia Management, Specialty Contact lens fittings, LASIK, and Cataract surgery co-management, Treatment of Eye Emergencies, Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Diseases, including but not limited to Diabetic Eye Disease, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Cataracts, and Dry Eye Disease.

Today, Landa Eye Center has expanded to offer services at a second location in River Chase Plaza, located off Highway 306. Located about halfway between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake, the second office will provide better access to care for residents on the northern side of New Braunfels. The new location will offer the same personalized services clients know and love, as well as a full-service optical department, allowing patients to fill contact lens prescriptions and purchase frames and lenses right at the eye center.

Owner and Provider Dr. Angela Cline, who joined the practice alongside Dr. Hull in 2015, said the thing she loves most about optometry is the ability to improve patients’ lives almost instantly. “We provide almost instant gratification to solving an issue for a patient, and we do it painlessly,” she said. “... We provide a prescription to help people see better, and oftentimes they leave the same day with better sight. And so, it's a very positive experience because of that.”

She can’t think of a more positive life’s work than eye care. Dr. Cline is grateful to have been named the community’s “Best Of” Best Optometrist in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and she is honored that Landa Eye Center’s premium frame selection and service were named the Best Optical in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
