The Klines

Family, Fun, and Full Hearts in Forest Ridge

If you take a stroll through Forest Ridge, you might spot the Kline family enjoying the trails, playing tennis, or soaking in the sunshine with their two pups. Jillian and Jerod Kline have called this neighborhood home for the past ten years, embracing every minute of it and creating a life full of family traditions, adventure, and community connection.

Jillian and Jerod’s journey began at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater (Go Pokes!). Jerod, from Enid, earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, while Tulsa native Jillian studied Marketing and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. They met in 2007, married in 2011 at Camp Loughridge in Tulsa, and lived in Edmond for five years before settling in Broken Arrow to start their family.

Their household is lively and full of energy. Jacob, 9, plays flag football, soccer, golf, and tennis, while 7-year-old Jolie enjoys dance, swimming, and tennis. When not active, the kids can be found crafting, building with Legos, or watching movies. Both share a love for animals, which makes their bond with Dottie, a 3-year-old blue and red heeler, and Dougie, a 3-year-old miniature dachshund, extra special.

Jillian transitioned from a 7-year career in real estate title and escrow to becoming a licensed realtor with Chinowth & Cohen Realtors. Jerod, on the other hand, has worked as an Installation Manager for Johnson Controls for 15 years. Whether at work or home, they’re a strong team—raising their family, building careers, and teaming up in the kitchen.

Food is a big part of their lives. They love cooking together, especially on their pellet grill smoker, where they prepare everything from brisket to salsa and smoked chicken. They enjoy trying new recipes and hosting family and friends. When dining out, their go-to spots include Mi Cocina, Maple Ridge Grocer, Rustic Chophouse, and Water’s Edge.

The Klines share a passion for health and fitness. Jillian recently took up tennis, joining Tennis 101 classes, and they’re looking forward to the indoor courts opening so they can play year-round. As a family, they enjoy exploring Forest Ridge’s trails and visiting local parks like The Gathering Place, Ray Harral Nature Park, and Elam Park.

Travel is another favorite activity. They’ve made memories in Seaside, FL, and Gruene, TX, floating the Guadalupe River and soaking in the charm of New Braunfels. They’ve also visited Colorado towns like Crested Butte and Steamboat Springs. Their next trip is to Lake Tahoe in October, where they can’t wait to experience the scenery.

The Klines are big on traditions, especially around the holidays. They look forward to the Forest Ridge Easter Egg Hunt and hosting Easter lunch, the 4th of July pool party at the Ridge Club, and fireworks displays. Thanksgiving is spent in Enid with Jerod’s family, and Christmas Eve includes a candlelight service followed by dinner at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse. Christmas Day is spent with Jillian’s family in South Tulsa.

When it’s time to relax, the Klines enjoy family time—dancing to music, watching classic movies like Top Gun and Home Alone, and camping at Roaring River State Park in Cassville, MO. They love peaceful hikes, trout fishing, and escaping into nature.

One of the things the Klines love most about Forest Ridge is the lifestyle it offers. Living within walking distance to Highland Park made their decision to buy here easy. The kids ride their bikes to school, play on the playground during breaks, and the family enjoys the trails, ponds, Ridge Club, golf course, and on-site restaurant.

For the Klines, Forest Ridge isn’t just a neighborhood—it’s where their favorite memories are being made. From school day bike rides to Ridge Club pool parties and smoked brisket dinners with friends, they’re living life to the fullest!
