If you ask Jeff Nick where his story really begins, it doesn’t start with owning a company or leading a team. It starts with realizing what didn’t fit. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jeff graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010 and stepped into a career in insurance with State Farm. On paper, it made sense. In reality, it didn’t.

“I knew I didn’t want to be behind a desk,” Jeff says. “I just wanted to be outside.” That clarity set the stage for an unexpected pivot. In 2015, through his brother’s best friend, Jeff landed a job with a local lawn care company. He started at the very bottom, assuming it would only be temporary. What he didn’t expect was how much he would love the work.

Working outdoors, seeing tangible results, and serving homeowners in a meaningful way quickly reshaped his outlook. When that company was later sold to a larger national brand, Jeff found himself at a crossroads. Rather than stay comfortable, he chose to build something of his own. In 2020, Augusta Lawn Solutions was born.

Today, Jeff is the President and CEO of Augusta Lawn Solutions, a locally owned business specializing in lawn care and weed control, fertilization, mosquito control, perimeter pest control, grub and insect control, seeding, and aeration. Their mission is clear. “Our focus is to maintain your lawn as pristine like a top golf course is,” Jeff explains.

The name itself offers a clue to the company’s inspiration. Jeff is an avid golfer and a devoted fan of the Masters. “Masters time is a special time of year, and I love it,” he says. That passion translates directly into the way Augusta Lawn Solutions approaches every property—with precision, consistency, and pride.
