For the family of Amy and Robert, along with their children Averie, Jackson, and Quinn, life in Stanfords Landing became a little brighter when Finn joined the family.

Finn, a one-year-old mix of Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and German Shepherd, came into their lives after they adopted him from a family whose dogs had an unexpected litter of puppies. What started as a simple adoption quickly turned into a new chapter filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of excitement.

With three highly intelligent and energetic breeds in his lineage, it's no surprise that Finn keeps everyone on their toes. According to his family, he is "extremely vocal, high energy and incredibly smart." While many dogs enjoy a game of fetch, Finn prefers to take things up a notch. Instead of waiting for a ball to bounce, he loves playing catch, leaping into the air to grab whatever is thrown his way.

Despite his endless energy, Finn's favorite thing in the world is spending time with his people. He is fiercely protective of his family while also being incredibly affectionate. In fact, attention is something Finn can never seem to get enough of.

Like any beloved family pet, Finn has developed a few entertaining quirks. One of his funniest habits is what his family describes as throwing a "temper tantrum" when things don't go his way. Whether it's stomping around the house or barking back in protest, Finn has no problem making his opinions known.

Of course, a dog with a personality this big is also thoroughly spoiled. Finn is convinced that anyone near him exists for one of two reasons: to play with him or to pet him. And judging by the affection he receives, it's safe to say he's not entirely wrong.

Beyond the fun and laughter, Finn has brought something even more meaningful to the family. After losing their beloved 12-year-old dog, Lola, their hearts were understandably heavy. Following a year without a dog, Finn arrived at just the right time. His playful spirit, constant companionship, and larger-than-life personality helped fill a void and brought renewed joy into their home.

Flash forward to now, every day with Finn is an adventure, and his family wouldn't have it any other way.
