Pet’s Name: Patterson

Type/Breed: Dog and we aren’t sure. Maybe a Shih Poo or a Cavapoo

Gender: Boy

Age: Between 1.5 and 2 years old

Where/why did we get our pet: Our dog Annie of almost 17 years died in the Spring. After living through the grief of that loss, we decided it was time to get another pup. Our kids wanted another dog, and our other dog, Lucy, wanted a new playmate. We rescued Patterson through Tzu Zoo Rescue, a rescue organization local to DFW. 

Story behind his name: Patterson came with his name, and we decided to keep it. He had been through so many changes in his young life, we figured his name shouldn’t be another. Plus, we like it and it and he already has lots of nicknames like Pat Man, Patty, and Patter Boy. 

Special or unusual: He has a cute little underbite that we love and makes us giggle. 

What do we like best: We like that he has a great disposition, a sweet personality, loves to snuggle, and he is very soft. 

Funny stories: We always think it’s funny when he gets the zoomies in the house. We’re hoping for years of more stories with our boy. 

How spoiled: He is spoiled with love, attention, and his favorite treat - turkey hot dogs!
