In addition to meeting their teachers, exploring their new classrooms, and meeting new friends, students learned all about what it means to be Focused, Organized, and eXcellent (FOX) as part of the school’s performance-based incentive system. After a week of demonstrating their positive performance in the classroom, at lunch, in the halls, and at recess, students celebrated the end of a great first week with an ice cream truck, courtesy of the Gates Mills PTC.  Of course, the school mascot Blaze was in attendance. The school also welcomed a brand new class of kindergarteners, who are excited to join our Fox Family!

We hope you’ll join us as we start our year-long celebration of 100 years of learning! Gates Mills Elementary families, friends, and alumni are invited to join us on November 21st from 6-10pm at StoneWater Golf Club. For tickets and more information visit https://100-years-celebration.cheddarup.com.
