Hush little baby

Sweet

“Sis” “sweet pea” “sister” “Addie girl”

Do you want to share any sweet or funny anecdotes from the first days at home with the new arrival?
Our first night home was a sleepless one, but so incredibly sweet. Her big brothers and even the dog were so excited and curious to meet her. From day 1 our 18-month-old has been so gentle and caring towards her and the 5-year-old already wants more babies!

Did you receive, or already have, any specific baby keepsakes or gifts with sentimental value or a special story behind them?
Before Adeline was born I took her brothers to Build-A-Bear and they picked out a teddy bear for her. We bought a shirt for it that says “It’s a girl” and my oldest, Conrad, recorded a message to put in the bear that says “Me and Brooksie love you, baby sister”

Is there anything else that you would like to share?
Adeline is the 6th grandchild on her maternal side, but the first grand-DAUGHTER. And there is another boy cousin on the way.
