As February arrives, love is certainly in the air. This month, we’re celebrating some of the most loyal, joyful members of our community: your pets. From wagging tails on morning walks to curious cats watching the neighborhood from sunny windows, our furry friends bring so much comfort, laughter, and unconditional love into our lives.

One of my favorite things about the neighborhood is how welcoming everyone truly is. It’s common to see neighbors stopping to say hello, not just to each other, but to the dogs trotting happily beside them. Pets have a special way of bringing people together, sparking conversations, and strengthening the sense of community we all cherish.

This month’s issue highlights the special bond between neighbors and their beloved pets, along with stories and features that showcase the heart of Glen Oaks. I hope these pages bring a smile to your face and remind you just how much joy our four-legged (and sometimes feathered!) friends add to everyday life.
