A Pawfect Aspen Summer

Prince & GB Singer's annual mountain escape was one to be remembered. From hiking to eating ice cream in town, these two are simply living their best lives ever.

This past summer, two of Golden Beach’s most distinguished residents—Prince and GB—traded sandy shores for the crisp mountain air of Aspen, Colorado. For nine golden weeks, these jet-setting companions, who split their time between Golden Beach, the Bahamas, and Aspen, lived their best mountain lives.

Saturdays were a ritual: a stroll through the heart of town at the market, followed by playdates at the park with 30 to 40 canine friends. A swirl of soft ice cream was always part of the itinerary. Aspen’s wildlife—deer, bears, squirrels, and foxes—added to the thrill of their daily walks. While GB paused to sniff wildflowers and gaze dreamily at the sky, Prince embraced his instincts, eager to chase anything on four legs.

Aspen’s dog-friendly spirit meant Prince and GB dined al fresco at the town’s finest restaurants, with The Little Nell earning their deepest affection for its homemade treats. At every table, they sat regally, eyes fixed on the parade of people and fellow pups that passed by. They also love the Jerome Hotel, an Auberge Resorts Collection property because of the delectable treats within.

Travel, of course, was private. GB preferred gazing out the window at the clouds, while Prince, ever the adventurer, seemed destined for the cockpit. Calm companions’ mid-flight, they showed only a touch of nerves at takeoff and landing.
