That magic is exactly what Midlothian resident Stacy Gjetnes pours into every creation at ByStacyG, her small-batch dessert brand known for its stunning Dubai-Style Chocolate Bars. These seven-ounce beauties are layered with premium Ghirardelli chocolate, imported pistachio cream, delicate kataifi pastry, tahini, and organic butter, then wrapped in gold foil and finished with a clean, minimalist label. They look like luxury, but more importantly — they taste unforgettable.

For Stacy, food has always been an expression of love. With a Greek and Italian background, hospitality runs deep. “I’ve always loved cooking, baking, and sharing with others,” she says. “Every winter I make around fifteen different kinds of cookies just to spread cheer.” The spark for her business ignited during a trip to the beach, where she tried a Dubai-style chocolate bar for the first time. Delicious but pricey, she thought, This is amazing — but I can make it even better. And she did.

After years of perfecting recipes and sourcing the highest-quality ingredients, ByStacyG officially launched in 2025. Today, Stacy is a one-woman powerhouse, handling everything from recipe development and sourcing to packaging, marketing, and customer service. Stacy has lived in Hallsley since 2016 and treasures the community's warmth. Born and raised in Midlothian, she returned after nearly two decades in Northern Virginia to be closer to her family. She and her husband, Chris, now enjoy life here with their sons, Nick and Alex, and their mini Cavapoo, Rosie.
