The Roth Family

Rick and Jeannie Roth moved into Hampton Cove in early March of 1993 when it was still a fledgling housing development. The water fall feature was unfinished and the Hampton house, swimming pool, and tennis courts were still on the planner’s drawing boards.
The couple is originally from Ho-Ho-Kus New Jersey where they met while still in high school. Over the years they have lived and worked in California, Utah, and Louisiana. They recently celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary with a 16-day Mediterranean cruise.
Rick is a retired aerospace engineer and Jeannie a registered nurse. Before his retirement in 2012, Rick managed the Thiokol Space Division (later ATK) Program/Engineering Liaison office at MSFC supporting the Space Shuttle Program and later the Space Launch System (Artemis). Jeannie worked ER, Special Procedures, and Information Systems at Crestwood Medical Center before her retirement in 2016.
Both Rick and Jeannie have been avid snow skiers, tennis players, and more recently have dabbled in pickle ball. Jeannie spends her time these days hanging with family and friends, spending time at the gym, hiking, playing tennis, and working on various art projects. She is also a member of the HC Garden Club. Rick is a long-time drummer who now spends much of his time constructing metal models, honing his mediocre guitar and piano skills, performing preventative maintenance around the house, as well as maintaining their cars. Together they enjoy taking road trips to visit family and friends and visiting locations around the world.
The couple have four children and seven grandchildren. Chris, their oldest son is President and CEO of St. Luke’s Health care system in Boise Idaho. He and his wife Kim have four children. Peter, their second son, lives in Huntsville with his Wife Angela and two children. He is Executive Manager/Solutions Architect for Hexagon US Federal. Their only daughter Lisa lives in Indianapolis with her husband Mark and one daughter. She is employed by Seal Air Corp. as Executive Director of Strategic Marketing.
Their youngest son Connor is a Pharm D Hematology and Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with the Franciscan Health Care System in Chicago. He is married to his wife Meghan. Their only child so far is a golden retriever named Mabel.
Rick and Jeannie have thoroughly enjoyed their thirty-one plus years in Huntsville and Hampton Cove and all the experiences they’ve had and the friends they’ve made during that time.
