Hidden Lake neighbors recently gathered in downtown South Lyon for an unforgettable evening of connection, conversation, education, and elevated self-care at the beautiful Aesthetic Atelier Med Spa & Wellness in downtown South Lyon.

Hosted by Dr. Ruth, the Spring Glow Soirée brought together neighbors and local business partners for a night that felt both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. From the moment guests walked through the doors of Aesthetic Atelier’s newly expanded space, there was an immediate sense of warmth, intention, and thoughtful hospitality woven into every detail.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed personalized skincare conversations with Dr. Ruth, treatment demonstrations, wellness education, complimentary chair massages from Kim, owner of The Massage Garage, jewelry cleaning and a sparkling jewelry display from Dhara of Prime Fine Jewelry, and a beautifully curated champagne bar by Arev of Savor & Sip that kept everyone smiling all evening long.

One of the most engaging moments of the night was the anonymous group Q&A, where neighbors had the opportunity to openly ask Dr. Ruth questions about treatments, skincare, injectables, lasers, regenerative therapies, and wellness in a relaxed and judgment-free setting. Guests especially loved the live laser demonstrations, with many commenting on how surprisingly gentle and comfortable the treatments felt compared to past experiences elsewhere.

And of course, the food was absolutely incredible.

Katherine’s Catering created a stunning Mediterranean-inspired spread featuring shawarma bites, Mediterranean mezze platters, crispy chickpea salad, bacon wrapped dates, elegant desserts, refreshing cucumber mint water, hibiscus lemonade, and more. Every detail felt intentional, fresh, and beautifully presented.

Guests also left with thoughtfully curated take-home gifts from Dr. Ruth, including beautiful skincare bags and Candace’s signature sparkle spray from Ventures Glass & Services. Tonya Cleveland, owner of Tiffany’s Gardens, added another thoughtful touch by sending guests home with lovely flowers to plant and enjoy.

There were also several generous giveaways throughout the evening. Kathy Tosoian won a luxurious Hydrinity skincare package gifted by Dr. Ruth, while additional prizes were donated by Szegi Haus K9 Solutions, Savor & Sip, Party Fly Photography, and The Massage Garage.

What made the evening especially meaningful was getting to know the heart behind Aesthetic Atelier and the reputation Dr. Ruth has quietly built within the community.

With more than a decade of experience in medicine and aesthetics, Dr. Ruth founded Aesthetic Atelier to create a space where artistry, science, and patient-centered wellness come together. A Doctoral-level Physician Associate trained at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine with clinical experience through the Cleveland Clinic, she combines advanced medical expertise with a deeply personalized approach to care.

Whether discussing injectables, regenerative therapies, laser treatments, or overall skin health, Dr. Ruth’s philosophy centers around natural-looking results, long-term wellness, safety, and helping patients feel confident without ever feeling overdone. It is easy to see why her practice continues to grow primarily through referrals, relationships, and word of mouth.

More than anything, guests appreciated how comfortable, informed, and cared for they felt throughout the evening.

As both the publisher of STROLL Hidden Lake and the coordinator of these gatherings, one of my favorite parts of the evening was simply watching the connections happen naturally.
