Heart of Spring
Despite the chilly morning, neighbors showed up in full spirit for a joyful Easter Eggstravaganza filled with smiles, egg hunts, and sweet moments. A beautiful reminder of the traditions and connection that make Hidden Lake so special.
Despite the brisk spring air, Hidden Lake neighbors showed up in the best way — bundled up, smiling, and ready to celebrate one of the community’s most loved traditions.
The morning began with festive photos alongside the Easter Bunny, set beneath a stunning pastel balloon arch by Starrstruck Balloons & Decor. It was the perfect welcome as neighbors gathered with warm Starbucks coffee and the cutest mini doughnuts, generously provided by Legacy Painting Co., creating a cozy and cheerful start to the day.
As the crowd grew, so did the excitement. Families mingled, kids clutched their baskets, and anticipation built for the moment everyone had been waiting for. When it was time, Daniel, owner of Legacy Painting Co., alongside his colleague Courtney, helped kick things off in the most memorable way — cutting the string to officially start the egg hunts.
And just like that… they were off.
With age-grouped hunts keeping things fair and fun, the field quickly filled with laughter, running feet, and eager little hands collecting eggs.
Afterward, children returned their eggs to exchange for colorful treat bags, compliments of the Hidden Lake Social Committee, with Daniel helping hand them out and celebrate each child’s haul.
Behind the scenes, it took a village. A special thank you to Mary Pittman and Paula LaPointe for arriving early to help hide eggs and staying after to assist with cleanup — a true reflection of the heart of this community.
Throughout the morning, one thing was especially clear. So many neighbors and friends took a moment to share their gratitude — stopping to say thank you for bringing everyone together. Those moments never go unnoticed and mean more than you know.
One neighbor, Greg Doyal, shared what so many were feeling:
“Such a great event. My grandkids look forward to this every year. Thank you Jenni Eifler and Jim Bertrand!”

Even on a chilly day, the warmth of Hidden Lake was undeniable. From laughter-filled moments to shared traditions, this event was a beautiful reminder of what makes this community so special.
With heartfelt gratitude to the Hidden Lake Social Committee and Legacy Painting Co. for their generosity and continued support, the Easter Eggstravaganza once again brought neighbors and friends together to celebrate the season in the most meaningful way
