Their thoughtful design gave us the perfect setting to capture memories, and it beautifully reflects what they do every day: transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary seasonal experiences.

The story behind The Seasonal Standard Co. is rooted in both passion and place. Founder Daniel Misiak grew up in Alpena on 40 acres, where the changing seasons inspired a lifelong love of creating warm, welcoming spaces. After moving to Brighton more than 20 years ago, he found himself decorating his own farmhouse and helping friends and neighbors style their porches for fall and Christmas. What began as a personal passion “naturally evolved into a business where I could offer that same sense of ease and beauty to others,” Daniel shared.

Today, The Seasonal Standard Co. specializes in curated, high-quality seasonal displays for both homes and businesses. Their mission is to “set the standard” for seasonal style by offering thoughtful design, premium materials, and professional setup year-round.

Most clients, he explained, “love the idea of having a beautiful, seasonally-decorated space but struggle with the time, planning, and sourcing it takes to make that vision happen.” The Seasonal Standard Co. takes the stress off families and businesses alike with curated displays, quality materials, and turnkey service. Their small team handles everything from planning to setup — with a service commitment that ensures if something isn’t right, they’ll return to adjust at no additional cost.
