On Wednesday, December 3rd, the Hidden Lake Book Club met at Brighton Bar & Grill to a standing room only crowd … don’t you wonder what those other two tables sitting in that same room thought of us and how they ended up there. 

The night was filled with nonstop laughter, storytelling, and the kind of conversations that probably confused nearby tables — but entertained us greatly. We laughed so hard that breathing became optional.

Now, let’s talk about the real MVP of the night: my dinner AND the Amazon gift card. Ladies… I cannot begin to thank you enough!!! My amazing delicious dinner and Amazon gift card has unleashed a level of shopping that should honestly be supervised. I can now proudly buy all the things that have been sitting in my cart for months whispering, “Treat yourself.” And yes, I will think of you all every time a questionable Amazon package arrives at my door and every time I use that Amazon item. 

We also delivered a beautiful collection of books to LACASA, proving once again that we are not only fabulous, but generous. If kindness earned royalties, we’d all be sipping cocktails on a private bestseller list tour.
