Harlow Normandin, 7 years old, going into 2nd grade.
How long have you lived in the neighborhood, and what do you like best about it?
My whole life, since 2019. I like that my school is safe, and I like that we have pools for swimming, and I like having all my friends here, and I like that it's a safe neighborhood.
What's your favorite hobby or activity to do after school or on weekends?
I like to play in my room and listen to music on the weekends. I like to have playdates with all my friends. I like playing soccer with my team and the Ukulele.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would like to have the power of being a spy because if someone was having an important talk I could hear what it was.
Tell us about your best friend(s) and what makes them special.
My best friend is Stella Pigrom because we met when we were in our mom's bellies. She is nice and kind, and she shares a lot with me.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?
I would like to go to Hawaii. I would like to go in the ocean and play in the sand.
What's your favorite subject in school, and what do you like about it?
Math. I like math because it's easy for me and I just like to figure out the problems.
What's your dream job when you grow up, and why does it sound fun to you?
Being an artist. Because my friend Ruby and I are going to be artists today, and we are going to go into the wild and paint pictures and sell them, and we will paint cute things like flowers, ladybugs, and insects.
What's your favorite family tradition or special celebration?
We do Minute to Win It games on Christmas Eve with my grandma. I like the game where we have to put a cookie on our face and get it to our mouth in under a minute.
Do you have a favorite animal or pet? Why do you like them?
I like cheetahs because they are fast and because of how they eat prey. My dream is to have a pet cheetah. And I like my golden retriever, Banks, because he's so sweet when he does his puppy face.
