Hello, Neighbors, Friends and Sponsors,
Happy Fall Y'all! Fall is one my favorite seasons, so much joy in cooler temperatures and the color orange. On the positive side, we associate orange with optimism, confidence, enthusiasm, warmth, and agreeableness. Because it is a bright and vivacious color, it helps people feel more outgoing or even bold. To bring some orange into your fall, be sure to visit Marguerite's on Dresden in Brookhaven for gorgeous velvet pumpkins and candles. If you're in Buckhead, Kathryn Leach always has a lovely selection of home accessories with some orange. To wear orange, visit our favorite stylist Sara at Tootsies. She will gather all shades of orange for the best fit in dresses, sweaters or whatever your wardrobe desires. For myself, I plan on visiting all three places but first I'll pull out my current fall items to make sure I'm not duplicating any buys. Lastly, don't forget the pumpkins and porch decor to really get your orange on in the most joyful way!
Please welcome our newest sponsor, Island Seafood and One Medical. Island Seafood delivers the freshest seafood in Atlanta to your door. All the fish are caught sustainably, from their Docks to your Door! Call them at (470) 637-2424 for the Atlanta Metro area delivery schedule.
One Medical offers us a modern approach to primary care with a membership-based primary care practice designed around our individual needs. They work with your insurance just like a regular doctor's office would, but offer so much more. A One Medical membership makes it faster, easier, and more enjoyable to look after your health.
In closing, I'd like to say that I'm forever grateful to our business partners who make this community-written magazine free to all the residents. A huge thank you to the many residents who contribute by sending in stories and neighborhood updates. Stroll Historic Brookhaven (also known as Historic Brookhaven Living) would not exist without the support of our community.
I look forward to meeting more incredible people in the area and sharing your stories.
With Much Gratitude,
Cynthia Carns
