Greta Garbo… But Make It Border Collie
What is your pet’s name, and is there a story behind it?
Our puppy’s name is Greta and she’s 3 and a half months old! She was named after Greta Garbo, an actress from the 1920’s. We’ve had two Border Collies before we got Greta and their names were Gunner and Grizz so we figured we would just keep the “G” names going!What breed is Greta?

Back in October a friend of Effie’s from college contacted her and asked if she wanted a puppy. She knew we had lost our 12 year old Border Collie Grizz to cancer in the spring and knew our three girls missed having a dog. At first Effie said we couldn’t get a puppy with all the busyness of life but Andrew convinced her it would be a good addition to the family! All three girls asked for a puppy for Christmas so Greta arrived Christmas morning and the girls unwrapped a box under the Christmas tree and immediately fell in love with her!
