When & where did you adopt your pet?
We adopted Bear from Paducah when he was a puppy in 2018.
What made you decide to make your home your pet's forever home?
We all love animals, and my sons and I had been trying to convince my husband to get another dog for some time. He finally agreed.
How did your pet get his/her name?
We are Chicago Cubs fans, so we named him Bear after the Cubby Bears.
Does your pet have any favorite toys, places to sleep, visit, etc?
Bear’s favorite toys are anything stuffed that he can tug on and eventually tear up. He sleeps and goes wherever Mom sleeps and goes!
Tell us something quirky or funny that your pet does:
Bear loves to play football and basketball with our boys. He can actually “pass” the ball to them, and he is very fast!
How has having your pet made your life better?
Bear gives all of us a sense of calm and love. There’s nothing like coming home and having him so excited to see us.
Is there anything else you want to tell the neighbors about your pet?
No matter how many deer hang out in our yard, he seems to always has to bark like crazy at them!
