Addley Marinacci has called the Woodridge Estates neighborhood home for 14 years. She's the daughter of JB and Jennifer Marinacci and a proud sister to Alyssa, 24, and Andrew, 20. Addley's niece, the adorable two-year-old Brynleigh Jo, is a shining star in their family. Now an 18-year-old senior at Hurricane High School, Addley balances academics, dance, and assisting a Mommy and Me class at Dancing Unlimited

For Addley, dance has been a part of life since she was just five years old. "I started taking classes at Dancing Unlimited when I was little, and it's been one of the best decisions of my life," she shared with Stroll Hurricane. She is a four-year member of the Hurricane High School Dance Team and has spent seven years on the Dancing Unlimited Competition Team.

"Dance isn't just about the moves; it's about the friendships and mentorships I've gained along the way," Addley said. "I've met incredible friends and mentors who have made every practice and performance unforgettable." One of her proudest moments came last season when her team competed at a National competition in Charleston, South Carolina. "Three of my dances made it to the finals, and it was such an amazing experience."

Balancing dance and school is no small feat. Addley credits her success to staying organized and maintaining a tight schedule. "Prioritizing the important things and managing my time well has helped me stay on top of my schoolwork while still enjoying my senior year," she explained.

When asked about a favorite memory, Addley recalls the excitement of her first high school student section experience. "It was a playoff game against George Washington, and my friends and I got to storm the field together. That moment was unforgettable!"

Looking to the future, Addley plans to attend the University of Kentucky next fall, though she remains undecided on her major. Despite the uncertainty, she is optimistic and excited about what lies ahead.

Addley draws inspiration from her parents, JB and Jennifer. "My mom and dad have always shown me unconditional love and support," she said. "They’ve pushed me to be my best and taught me that hard work pays off. Their belief in me motivates me to keep improving."

With a heart full of gratitude and determination, Addley Marinacci continues to dance through life, making memories and inspiring those around her.
