Welcome to JACK’S PACK!
Every month Jack Levine will have a different topic to chat about. He thought it would be great to start off talking about, what else? The Ibis Dog Park!
Welcome to JACK’S PACK! Jack has autism and loves living in IBIS. He wants to get to know his neighbors a little more…and there’s no better place to do that while hanging out with your best friend Murphey at the Ibis dog park! It’s also fun when you get to have a new dog at your house! These interviews give Jack the opportunity to develop his self confidence when participating in different conversations with new people.
Jack: “My name is Jack Levine. I am 19 years old and I love my pets. I love using the computer, doing laundry, socializing with my friends, cooking food, and best of all, playing with my dogs!
For this month’s STROLL IBIS magazine, I interviewed Cindy and Jon Hazman at my home. They brought their dog over to see me. It was awesome learning about their dog. Thank you for reading my interview!”
THE INTERVIEW
Cindy and Jon are seated in the bar area. Jack is standing across from them.
JACK: “Can you can tell me your names”
JON: “Cindy and Jon Hazman”
JACK: “My name is Jack. Is it possible if I can interview you?
CINDY: “Absolutely!”
JON: “Absolutely. We would love it.”
JACK: “Can you tell me where you live?”
JON: “We live in the Woodlands here at the Club at Ibis.”
JACK: “What is your dog’s name?”
JON: “Theo…T...H…E..O.”
JACK: “Where did you get your dog from?”
JON: “He came from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. So, he was purchased during COVID and we drove up there to a farm. That’s where we found and picked him.”
CINDY: “He is a Havapoo…Havanese and a poodle mix.”
JON: ”A toy poodle.”
JACK: “How did you pick your dog up?”
JON: “We drove up there. It was me, Cindy, my son Brent and his girlfriend Gabbi. Ultimately Gabbi said this is the one for you guys.”
CINDY: ”Yeah.”
JON: “He was the friendliest. So, probably Gabbi helped us the most.”
CINDY: “He was very friendly and we liked his color. Our old dog was white and we didn’t want a white dog again.”
JACK: “Thank you for allowing me to interview you.”
JON: ”Thank you Jack. That was awesome!”
CINDY: “Thank you!”
