Where Strength Meets Community: Building Better Lives One Rep at a Time

Founded on passion, connection, and decades of coaching experience, Helioss Fitness is redefining personal training in College Station with a fully customized, community-driven approach to health and wellness.

For Grant Fadal, fitness has never been just a profession—it’s a lifelong pursuit of growth, discipline, and helping others unlock their potential. A Waco, Texas native and Texas A&M Class of ’96 graduate, Grant returned to College Station in 1998 with his wife, Jennifer, where they built both a life and a deep connection to the community they still call home today.
Together, their family story is rooted in Aggie pride and purpose. Jennifer works as a Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A, and their 19-year-old son Lucas is currently pursuing aviation in Florida.
A Vision Built on Passion and Purpose
With more than 23 years of experience as a personal trainer, Grant envisioned something different—something better.
He didn’t want a traditional gym model filled with barriers and limitations. Instead, he set out to create a space where skilled trainers could collaborate freely, focusing entirely on client results without unnecessary bureaucracy.
That vision became reality in 2020 with the launch of Helioss Fitness.
“Our mission is to positively impact as many people’s lives as we can through fitness,” Grant shares. “We wanted a place where trainers and clients could truly grow together.”
More Than a Gym—A Fully Customized Fitness Experience
Helioss Fitness operates as an all-in-one training solution, offering services tailored to every stage of life and every fitness level.
Programs include:
  • One-on-one personal training
  • Small group training
  • Nutrition coaching
  • Online coaching for flexible goals
What truly sets Helioss apart is its “no cookie cutter” philosophy. Every program is designed around the individual—not the other way around.
From young athletes to seniors, from post-stroke rehabilitation clients to weight loss journeys, the Helioss team meets people exactly where they are—and helps them move forward with confidence.
Rooted in Connection and Community
For Grant and Jennifer, College Station isn’t just where they work—it’s home.
Their involvement spans numerous local organizations and events, including Junior League, PTO, YMSL, Special Olympics, the GI Museum, local car clubs, and small businesses throughout the Brazos Valley.
Helioss Fitness clients represent the full spectrum of the community, and that diversity fuels the studio’s culture of connection.
“At Helioss, we say we’re a family—trainers and clients together,” Grant says. “It’s never felt like just a job. It’s about improving lives through fitness and connection.”
Six Years of Growth and Momentum
As Helioss Fitness approaches its six-year anniversary this August, the focus remains on continued growth—both in team strength and community impact.
The goal is simple but powerful: expand the reach of personalized fitness while maintaining the close-knit culture that defines the studio.
A Final Thought
For Grant Fadal, fitness is about more than physical change—it’s about transformation, consistency, and community.
“Support local,” he encourages. “The more we invest in each other here in BCS, the stronger we all become.”
