Our family has called the neighborhood home for six years, and one of our favorite things about living here is easy access to the local trails. After the heartbreaking loss of our two longtime cats in the same year, we welcomed Luna into our family through the Aggieland Humane Society. She is now almost three years old.

Unlike some pets whose names come with a grand story, Luna's was simply the perfect fit for our beautiful black cat. The name suited her from the start and has remained just right ever since.

Luna is a cat who knows exactly what she likes. She prefers the comfort of dark, hidden spaces and often disappears into the shadows around the house. While she isn't always seeking attention, she has a special ritual with her dad: crawling under the covers for quiet cuddle time. That's when she is happiest and most affectionate.

Her favorite toy is a sparkly soft ball, which can quickly bring out her playful side. Though she leaves the hunting expeditions to Xena, Luna has mastered the art of relaxation, stealth, and choosing the perfect cozy hiding place. Her calm, mysterious nature makes her a beloved member of the family and the undisputed queen of undercover snuggles. (Xena was featured as our Precious Pet last month!)
