Guiding Families Through Life's Biggest Transitions
Through education, experience, and a heart for serving others, Connie Williams empowers seniors and their adult children to make informed decisions before life's biggest transitions become urgent.
For Connie Williams, success has never been measured by the number of homes she's sold. Instead, it's measured by the number of families who feel less overwhelmed, more informed, and more at peace after walking through life's biggest transitions.
A lifelong Oklahoman, Connie grew up in Bethany before graduating from Putnam City West High School and earning her degree in Communication Arts from Oral Roberts University. Learning has always been important to her, and she has continued that pursuit through additional studies at Southern Nazarene University, Oklahoma City University, and the University of Oklahoma.
Her greatest accomplishment, however, is her family. Connie and her husband, James, have been married for more than 38 years after meeting as high school sweethearts. Together they raised their daughter, Ashley, who Connie describes as an answered prayer after being told she would never have children. Whether they're traveling, spending time at their lake house, or simply enjoying family and friends, relationships have always been at the center of their lives. She often remembers her mother's favorite saying: "The more friends you have, the richer you are." It's a philosophy that continues to shape everything she does.
That same heart for people has defined Connie's career.
She spent 11 years teaching drama and speech in Oklahoma public schools before serving in church ministry for more than 17 years. Today, she remains active at Crossings Community Church, where she leads support groups for families experiencing infant loss, miscarriage, and the challenges of caring for aging parents. She has also had the honor of officiating weddings for many of her former students, a reflection of the lasting relationships she builds wherever life takes her.
While working alongside her husband in their family business for more than three decades, Connie discovered another calling.
After spending seven years caring for both her mother, who battled cancer, and her mother-in-law following a stroke, she experienced firsthand the emotional and practical challenges families face when loved ones begin needing additional care. Those years introduced her to countless resources, professionals, and difficult decisions that many families are forced to make with little preparation.
Rather than simply learning from those experiences, Connie decided to turn them into a mission.
She earned her Oklahoma real estate license in 2014, became a Certified Senior Housing Professional, and founded The Connie Williams Group with a focus unlike most REALTORS®. Instead of simply helping clients buy or sell homes, Connie specializes in helping seniors and their adult children navigate downsizing, housing options, and the many decisions that come with life's later chapters.
Education has become one of her greatest passions.
Through Lunch and Learns, Downsizers Clubs, church presentations, and her Time for Living Seminars, Connie brings together trusted professionals to help families understand topics ranging from estate planning and financial preparation to caregiving, fraud prevention, healthy aging, and senior housing options. Her goal is simple: give people the information they need before a crisis forces them to make rushed decisions.
The impact of her work is evident in the people she serves.
One seminar participant shared that Connie's classes opened healthy conversations about retirement within their family. Another said the information helped them feel prepared for the next chapter with their aging parents. Others consistently mention her professionalism, compassion, and the fact that every seminar is focused on education rather than sales.
For Connie, every conversation begins with the same purpose: helping people move from uncertainty to confidence.
Whether she's connecting a family with trusted resources, helping someone downsize after decades in the same home, or simply providing reassurance during a difficult season, she believes no one should have to navigate life's biggest transitions alone.
Because sometimes the greatest gift isn't finding the right house. It's helping people find peace of mind.
