La Loba Cantina
A New Mexican Gem in the Railyard
Rick Karner with Manager, Giovanni Vignola
My wife, Melanie, and I recently stumbled upon a great new Mexican restaurant while exploring Edmond's Railyard. We liked it so much we returned with friends. From the moment we walked in, La Loba Cantina & Grill felt like one of those places where you want to linger a little longer, enjoy another appetizer, and soak in the lively atmosphere.
La Loba is the newest venture from owners Lori Dickinson Black and Chef Robert Black who own several other nearby restaurants. The menu goes beyond the usual Tex-Mex favorites by featuring Central Mexico dishes made with fresh ingredients, house-made sauces, and plenty of vibrant flavors.
The welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere make it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. Manager Giovanni Vignola, who owns Vignola’s Italian Kitchen's also located in the Railyard, draws customers in with the “you're part of the family” vibe. He stops by each table to visit with patrons and make sure they're having a pleasant experience.
Whether you're heading to the Railyard for date night, meeting friends after work, or simply in the mood for great Mexican food, La Loba Cantina & Grill is a place that's well worth the visit. It's always fun to discover a new favorite, and this one is definitely worth sharing with the neighborhood.
