Emily Ruth Health
Restoring Energy With Purpose
Since moving to Isle of Hope in June 2024, Emily Ruth Crinklaw has quickly woven herself into the rhythm of the neighborhood. An early riser who finds peace outdoors, she’s often spotted walking the Bluff or bicycling to worship at Good Shepherd Savannah. That same sense of intention shapes her work through Emily Ruth Health.
Emily Ruth Health serves busy Christian women navigating midlife, helping them balance hormones, regain energy, reach a healthy weight, and feel at home in their bodies again. With a background rooted in service—she was named after two grandmothers who served as medical pioneers in the U.S. Navy and spent time herself in the Coast Guard—Crinklaw’s path into health care felt inevitable. She began her career as a physician assistant in radiology, but over time realized she wanted to address root causes, not just symptoms. After caring for tens of thousands of patients, she discovered health coaching and found what she calls the missing link.
What sets her work apart is a whole-person approach that blends mind, body, and spirit. Crinklaw focuses on helping women retrain their thinking, understand how female bodies function differently than male-centered health models, and ground lasting wellness in faith. She believes information isn’t the problem—implementation and belief are.
Currently the sole full-time staff member, Crinklaw is supported by a small part-time team and is building a group coaching membership to foster connection, growth, and shared faith. Her advice to residents is simple but powerful: Don’t dismiss symptoms as “just aging.” Feeling well is possible, and every symptom has a reason.
She also hosts events and speaks to groups of all sizes. To learn more, visit emilyruth.health or follow her on social media at @EmilyRuthHealth.
