J. Paige Boutique

A Personal Approach to Style

For Isle of Hope native Jennifer Paige Cole, fashion has never been just about clothing — it’s about connection. Cole, who returned to the neighborhood in 2018 with her husband, Blake, and their four children, has built a business rooted in both creativity and care.

As the owner of J. Paige Boutique on Whitemarsh Island, Cole has spent more than a decade helping women feel confident in what they wear. The boutique, now approaching its 16th anniversary, evolved from her earlier maternity shop, Expectations. When shifting economic conditions forced a change, Cole reimagined her path and launched J. Paige in 2010.

What distinguishes her boutique is its hands-on approach. Cole personally selects every item in the store and is a familiar face to customers, often guiding them through the process of finding pieces that reflect their personal style. She believes clothing should feel authentic, not dictated.

Her background in fashion began early, working retail as a teenager before later designing handbags from home while raising her children. Those early steps eventually led to mentorship under local business owner Heather Burge and, ultimately, ownership.

Today, Cole is supported by a small team, including Lauren Feus, who shares her passion for helping women feel their best. While expansion is always a possibility, her focus remains on maintaining the boutique’s personalized experience.

For Cole, style advice is simple: confidence comes first. If something makes you feel beautiful, then wear it!

In addition to her storefront, Cole offers personalized styling services, even bringing selections directly to clients’ homes — a convenience many Isle of Hope residents already enjoy.
