Marjorie Coleman Design

Bringing Brands to Life

After years of living downtown, Marjorie Coleman and her husband found their way to Isle of Hope just before welcoming their first daughter. The move marked the beginning of not only a new chapter for their family, but also a turning point in Marjorie’s career.

Marjorie Coleman Design began as a passion project—friends and local entrepreneurs started reaching out for help with logos and websites. While balancing a full-time job, she took on projects that spoke to her love of visual storytelling. After her daughter was born, she took the leap to run her business full time.

Marjorie brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to each design. “It’s all about understanding the client’s goals,” she said. “Design should be beautiful, yes—but it should also work hard for your business.” That balance of creativity and clarity is what sets her work apart.

A graduate of SCAD with a degree in visual communication, Marjorie has been honing her craft since 2017. In the year ahead, she’s looking to deepen her skills in web design and experiment with AI tools to enhance the creative process.

Her advice for local business owners? “Don’t underestimate the power of good design. It can tell your story, reflect your values, and connect with your audience—often before a single word is spoken.”
