Harkleroad Event Rentals

Showing Up for Savannah’s Biggest Moments

For Tristan Harkleroad, building a business in his hometown is about more than tables, chairs, and towering water slides. It is about showing up for the moments people remember.

A Savannah native and 2014 Benedictine Military School graduate, Harkleroad earned a full football scholarship to The Citadel, where he played offensive line while completing his bachelor’s degree in health, exercise and sport science. After graduating in 2018 and returning home, entrepreneurship began calling — something he had witnessed firsthand through his father, a business owner since 1987.

That example helped shape Harkleroad Event Rentals and its emphasis on reliability, service, and community.

Today, the company equips celebrations of nearly every size, from intimate backyard gatherings and downtown micro weddings to 300-guest receptions. Its inventory spans tables and chairs to water slides reaching 30 feet tall, but Harkleroad believes what matters most happens behind the scenes: keeping commitments and finding a way to make each event work.

That determination has also guided the company through supply chain challenges, market changes, and the growing pains of entrepreneurship. A new location at 1230 E. Montgomery Cross Road has allowed the team to streamline operations and improve efficiency while continuing its steady growth.

Harkleroad Event Rentals also supports organizations including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, YMCA, and Children’s Museum of Pooler. Looking ahead, Harkleroad hopes to deepen those community ties while continuing to grow the company that allows him to serve the city he has always called home.
