Terri is a "Tini" Bit Older

Terri Hensley, on Old Bayou Trail, told a friend that a big 60th birthday was coming up, so she thought she would plan a party. Her friend said, “Okay, but you will not plan it. Leave it to us.”
Terri is a member of the early morning Aerobic exercise group, and the close-knit group responded to the call for an extravaganza! Meeting times were called for the song and dance practices written by Tracy and David Barrett. The song was fast-paced to the tune that all Tennessee fans know and love as Rocky Top. “If you’re down and out, there is no one better to call; Terri will make the best of everything; there is no question at all.” The song has many verses, and everyone in the ruckus gathering joined the chorus. We all vigorously shook our orange and white pompoms with the joy of the moment and homage to Terri.
The party planning started on December 11th, and the birthday bash was on January 18th. In addition to the songs and dances to learn, a rolling video of Terri's trips with friends, and early elementary and middle school pictures were a hoot.
The buffet provided by friends was exceptional. It included charcuterie, meatballs, wings, and shrimp, followed by sliced pork and beef tenderloin, broccoli salad, corn souffle, and potatoes au gratin. Desert was a decorated Terri Tini sheet cake, and the bartender mixed many a Terri-Tini.
Another long-time friend carried around a cut-out golf cart that mimicked the Hensley’s white and orange golf cart, holding a replica of their black dog Bradley. Lori Burkart's playlist, which consisted of 145 songs, kept the place rocking into the night.
