Summer Reading Trail Returns

Greensboro families can turn reading into an adventure this summer with the return of the Greensboro Summer Reading Trail, a free community program running June 1 through July 31.
Families visit participating businesses across Greensboro to read children’s books together and collect stamps along the way. Those who visit 12 or more of the 22 stops will be entered into a grand prize drawing featuring books, Greensboro Science Center passes, and other family-friendly prizes.
“Our goal is to make reading feel fun, accessible, and connected to the community,” said Julia Brown, organizer of the program and Lake Jeanette neighbor contact.
Every child who completes their map will also receive a free book prize at a community book fair in August.
