Bobby leads the fieldwork, while his talented lead technician, Alex, who brings 6 years of experience.  Behind the scenes, Bobby’s wife, Brianna, keeps everything running smoothly, managing scheduling, invoicing, customer communication, vendor relationships, and payroll. Together, they’ve created a business that blends professionalism with a small-town-know-your-neighbors touch.

“We want our customers to feel like family,” Brianna shares. They are not just coming in to fix something; they aim to help people understand what’s going on in their homes and feel confident in the process.

Cross Mechanical offers a wide range of services, including heating, cooling, light plumbing, and electrical work. Whether it’s a quick service call or a long-term relationship, they meet customers where they are. Their customizable maintenance memberships—Basic, Silver, and Gold- are especially popular, offering everything from seasonal tune-ups and water heater checks to priority scheduling, discounted repairs, and even advanced services like thermal scans of electrical panels.

Members will soon also have the opportunity for a customer portal, with an app currently in development that will allow homeowners to schedule services, view pricing, and even receive free estimates right from their phone.

Serving the entire Kansas City metro from Independence and Gladstone, Cross Mechanical has already made a big impact. Their projects range from residential homes to large-scale commercial work, including a fully remodeled doctor’s office and servicing a 375-unit apartment complex. They’ve also partnered with Interstate Roofing to help homeowners navigate repairs following storm damage.

But what truly makes this company special goes beyond the work itself.

Bobby and Brianna, who married in September 2024 and brought together a blended family of four children, are deeply committed to giving back. Through their nonprofit, Cross Kuntry Inc.(https://crosskuntrykc.org/), they provide housing for individuals recovering from substance abuse. With two properties, one single-family home and one recovery house for up to eight residents, they’re creating real opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.

Bobby’s passion for second chances doesn’t stop there. He actively mentors men in recovery, offering them hands-on training in the HVAC trade and a path toward stable employment.
