If you spend any time around Lake Quivira, there’s a good chance you’ll spot a sparkly-eyed, blonde kid named Jack Walton! He’s the ripe age of 6 ½ years, full of energy, and already living life at full speed. Born September 30, 2019, he proudly holds the title of youngest of three, keeping up with an older brother and sister while carving out a big personality all his own.

Jack is a kindergartner, soon to be entering 1st Grade at Good Shepherd School where he’s not just learning his ABCs, he’s also learning how to be a great teammate and an even better friend. Ask him what he’s good at, and his answer says it all: “Being a friend… I have at least 15 of them!” That peacemaker spirit carries right into his family life, where he’s known for keeping the harmony (even if making his bed isn’t exactly his strong suit).

When it comes to food, Jack doesn’t hesitate to say his favorite spot is Chick-fil-A. Jack says, “You can’t beat those fries!” Honestly, hard to argue with that.

Athletics are a big part of Jack’s world. He’s both a hockey player and a baseball player, and when he’s in the net as a goalie, he’s all focus. But give him a quiet moment, and he’ll tell you he’s dreaming of being a basketball player someday. This year is extra special, too; his mom is coaching his Good Shepherd baseball team. Go Rams!

And the fun doesn’t stop there. Jack just began taking piano lessons and has already mastered a repertoire of songs! This summer, Jack will make his debut splash as a Lake Quivira Catfish Swim Team member…just another way he’s diving into lake life. Speaking of lake life, Jack has already developed a taste for the finer things. He’s absolutely certain his first car will be a gray Tesla. No hesitation. 

His favorite color? White. “It’s an obvious choice!” he says with total confidence.

When he’s not playing sports or hanging with friends, you’ll probably find Jack at RUSH, launching himself into the foam pit or racking up points in the arcade. Because really… what 6 ½-year-old wouldn’t?

As for travel, Jack’s got his sights set on Texas for some golf or Oklahoma to visit his papa. Either way, he’s ready to go.

One thing’s for sure: Jack is the kind of kid you notice. He’s kind, fun-loving, determined, and already dreaming big. So keep an eye on him because wherever he’s headed, it’s gonna be a fun ride!
