Magnolia Soap & Bath Co.
“Our store is truly a family business in every sense of the word,” says Christina Nicklas, owner of Magnolia Soap and Bath. “It’s owned and operated by three generations of our family, all working together with shared values of integrity, creativity, and care for our community.”
The business is a partnership between the Galfione, Nicklas, and Earles families, each bringing decades of experience across accounting, operations, entrepreneurship, human resources, coaching, and creative marketing. More importantly, they bring heart. What ties them together is a shared desire to build something meaningful, not just for today, but as a legacy for their children and grandchildren.
For Christina and her family, Magnolia Soap and Bath was never just about opening a store. It was about creating a space where people could slow down, ask questions, learn, and feel connected. They were drawn to the idea of offering plant-based products people could feel confident using in their homes, paired with transparency and education that invite customers into the process rather than keeping it behind the scenes.
“With our family living close together here in Magnolia, this felt like the right time,” Christina shares. “We wanted to put our combined experience to work in a way that served both our family and the community we’ve grown to love.”
That sense of intention is something customers feel the moment they walk through the door. Magnolia Soap and Bath is intentionally warm and approachable, a place where conversations happen naturally and relationships are built over time. “People often tell us they appreciate being able to ask questions and feel personally connected to the people behind the products,” Christina says. “We never want the experience to feel rushed or impersonal.”
Community involvement is woven into the fabric of the business. From hosting children’s activities and workshops to participating in local events and supporting community initiatives, the family is committed to being present and engaged. Their shop has become a gathering place where neighbors run into one another, families create memories, and local relationships continue to grow.
As Magnolia Soap and Bath approaches its one-year anniversary, the focus remains on growing thoughtfully and staying rooted in what matters most. “This shop is more than a business to us,” Christina says. “It’s a family dream grounded in the Magnolia community. Every product we make and every person we serve is part of something bigger than ourselves, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support of this town we proudly call home.”
Above all, the family hopes to continue building something that serves their community well, honors their values, and becomes part of the legacy they leave behind.
