What college do you plan to attend? or What are your plans next year?
I plan to attend Baylor University or Pepperdine University. I plan to study Political Science on a Pre-Law Track.

How do you plan to spend this summer after graduation?
I plan to get a job and use my summer building a work ethic that will help me in college. I will spend a lot of my summer in the gym preparing for college martial arts sports teams, as well as spending a lot of time with my family and friends, who I will be away from in just a few months.

Name someone you admire. What makes them special and how have they motivated you?
I admire one of my friends; Shelli Smith. Shelli was a huge mentor to me in my faith journey and her ability to fight through her life circumstances has led me to fight for my achievements in my four years of high school. Shelli passed away my freshman year, and although it was the hardest loss I’ve ever faced, her presence in my life was the biggest blessing, because I realized how grateful I should be for the gift of life; something she never took for granted.

What will you miss most about High School or College?
I will miss my teachers who I have developed strong relationships with. I will miss my home and my family, as well as the few friends I have made at Bellarmine that I will be away from. I will miss the tiny school and town environment where I know most everyone I’m around, but I’m excited to explore different lifestyles and how others were raised in different states and countries.

Any special stories or information you would like to share about your high school experience?
I walked into high school telling my parents and counselors that I’m going to sign up for the hardest classes offered to me. I wanted to push myself as far as I could. And oh boy did I get what I wanted! My GPA struggled slightly, but I developed a love for learning and a work ethic through my multiple APs and Honors courses that I’ve taken. I’m incredibly grateful for the level of education I have gotten so far in my life, and I am hopeful for my future because of the work my teachers and peers have put in to help me get through the past four years of my life.
