Hello Neighbors, I'm Mocha Olsen. I am a spicy, sassy, sweet, soft, silly, super-senior kitty.

I was born on July 1st, 2021 – yes, I’ll be 22 this July!

 

My mom & dad, Alexandra & Thomas Olsen, adopt senior and/or hard-to-place cats.  They found me thru The Whole Cat & Kaboodle in Kirkland, WA. I was almost 17 years old at the time, so I fell into the hard-to-place super-senior cat category. I am so glad they chose me! I have the best parents in town, plus I get to live both in the stunning west coast and here in Beautiful Las Olas Isle

 

My favorite activity is going anywhere with Mom & Dad.  They bought a stroller for me this year, so I walk with them all over Las Olas. I love this place! so many trees with water channels all around. If you open your eyes, youwill see so much life, from iguanas, to squirrels, and all kinds of birds!  You can find me at Luigi’s Pizza, the Flo, or Bo’s usually. But my favorite treat is Churu! People know me around town and say I’m #livinlavidamocha

 

I’m originally from Washington State, but during Covid, our family started spending time in both Florida & Kirkland, WA.  I’ve flown the Alaska Airlines FLL-SEA route several times now.

 

I have had 2 BFFs since becoming an Olsen.  First was Toby, my parent's first senior rescue kitty.  We were together 1-1/2 years before he passed from cancer at 19 years old.   I was so sad without him, then they adopted another senior kitty – Remington.   We were together for around 3 years before he passed. I miss them so much! Then my parents adopted a younger, 8-year-old cat named Penelope 4 months ago.  We tolerate each other, sometimes... but in all honesty, we really don’t get along...
