Fall is here and we are excited for our community-building events! We’ve got some super fun
outings, including our first annual Fall Family Hoedown on Friday October 4th! Dust off your cowboy attire and let’s have a good ole’ time. Fall Family Hoedown
Friday, October 4, 5:30 -8:00pm at St. Stephen’s Great Hall
Grab your "pardners" for a fun night out! DJ Lightning will play country tunes, we’ll have a lil' cowkids coloring table and yummy cowboy chili and veggie cowboy stew for all to enjoy. Advance tickets required. You can also find our event, Family Hoedown on Eventbrite. Thanks,

Urban Hike to Seattle Sunshine Coffee & Calvary Cemetery
Tuesday, October 15, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Urban Hike to Seattle Sunshine Coffee & Calvary Cemetery. Enjoy a peaceful walk through Bryant to grab coffee, then we’ll take some quiet time as we meander through the cemetery on our way home. Meet at Sun Park (NE corner of Laurelhurst Elementary School) at 9am.
Pumpkin Painting with Laura Wright
Wednesday, October 16, 6:30 – 9:00pm at Burke Gilman Brewery
$30 (includes a pint). Embrace your inner Van Gogh and let’s create your
own acrylic impressionist pumpkin still life painting. All supplies are included. See you there!

Book Club: North Woods, by Daniel Mason
Wednesday, October 23rd , 7:00 - 9:00pm, at Jill Geary’s house (4350 53rd Ave NE)
A sweeping novel about a single house in the woods of New England, told through the lives of those who inhabit it across the centuries. A daring, moving tale of memory and fate from the Pulitzer Prize finalist and author of The Piano Tuner and The Winter Soldier. Please bring a nibble or drink to share. Bonus: Marissa Dineen of Dineen Vineyards will be hosting some wines to sample and sell during the event.
First Annual Pet/Person Costume Parade and Wiener Roast
Tuesday, October 29th, 5:00-7:30pm at Laurelhurst Park
Get your costumes on and let’s meet at the Laurelhurst Park fire pit above the tennis courts for this pre-Halloween furry fun event. We’ll begin our parade by walking around the Laurelhurst grass field. After, we’ll enjoy a wiener roast by the fire pit. BYOB and FUN!!
