Meet Old Fashioned Golf (OFG), a locally-owned company founded by three lifelong friends — Scott Biely, Kyle Herzog, and Joe Maretti — during a summer round of golf in 2020. While the scores may have been average that day, the idea sparked something exceptional.

OFG was born out of a love for the game, the state of Wisconsin, and the belief that golfers deserve gear that feels familiar, looks fresh, and performs every step of the way. Since then, they've been crafting Wisconsin-inspired golf apparel that not only stands up to unpredictable Midwestern weather but reflects the pride and personality of the players wearing it.

Every piece is thoughtfully designed by the founders themselves—three local golfers who understand the little joys and challenges of carving out time for the game you love.

“We know how tough it can be to get out on the course—between work, kids, and life in general,” says Kyle Herzog, who now lives in Ledgeview with his wife Nicole and their two children, Mason (7) and Harper (4). “So when you do make it, we want our gear to be a part of what makes that day great.”

In addition to growing their brand, OFG remains committed to giving back. One of their recent collaborations with the Arndt family led to a custom BE ALL HEART product line that raised over $3,000 for Children's Wisconsin. “It’s projects like that that make all of this even more meaningful,” says Herzog.

Kyle, a Manitowoc native, moved to Ledgeview in 2018 after spending a decade in Madison for school and work. Though he and his family thought they’d miss city life, they’ve found something even better here: a tight-knit, supportive community. “We’re constantly blown away by how much this area encourages and lifts up small businesses. It’s something really special.”
