We took the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Lake Louise, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Be sure to stay at the Fairmont Hotel right on the lake—it’s a breathtaking experience.
After a couple of days, we took a bus to Banff, a charming and quaint town nestled in the mountains.
As a fan of westerns, I especially enjoyed watching River of No Return starring Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum—it felt like a fitting tribute to the rugged landscape.
We wrapped up the trip in Calgary, staying at another Fairmont Hotel. The whole journey was unforgettable.
