Make Your Own Bookmark!

with Ruby Fogarty (8)

Supplies:
cardboard or cardstock
yarn/string
hole punch
markers or stickers

Directions:
This is a very simple craft! You cut out the bookmark and whatever shape you would like, typically, a long rectangle with a half circle on the end. Decorate it however your child would like. Get creative! Ruby used markers and colored pencils to color shapes and write a phrase. When she was done, she did a hole punch and put her string through to add a little bookmark pizazz on the end!

Ruby and her family just moved to Lake Forest at the end of June. She loves gymnastics, playing with friends and doing crafts. She also loves to read and made this for her summer school reading.
