Like so many local kids learning to sail, calm summer mornings often meant waiting for the afternoon breeze—spending time at Genoa Park before heading back onto the water when the wind finally filled in. Later, Erin returned to Genoa Boat Gardens as a sailing instructor, introducing young sailors to the same confidence, independence, and respect for the water that had shaped her own childhood.

 

Many of her closest friends lived on Lido Isle, making the Island a familiar part of her life long before she ever built a home there. Those early experiences created a lasting appreciation for a neighborhood where families put down roots, traditions are passed from one generation to the next, and homes become part of a family's legacy.
