Hi there! I’m Chris Kiel, the handyman with Call Chris LLC. Fixing things is what I love to do. After a 20-year career at Gulfstream and a major pandemic hit our economy, it was time for a change in direction for me. I have been a handyman for going on two years, and I work out of my home on Wilmington Island. I love running my own business! It gives me the ability to instill these core values into my company:

My wife, Sarah, and I moved to Savannah, GA about eight years ago with a job promotion from Gulfstream. We were excited to move out of the cold weather in Wisconsin, and into warm, sunny weather in Savannah. This has been our home away from home, and we have made many “friends that are like family” down South. We live in the River Oaks neighborhood - and are active members of the volunteer HOA in our community. I help out in the neighborhood when I can - whether it’s cutting trees away from the roads that fell from a hurricane to installing holiday lights at the front entrance, or pressure washing the sidewalks to keep them looking fresh and clean.
In our free time, we love to go boating and use our Freedom Boat Club membership on the weekends. We have found hundreds of shark teeth on remote beaches! It makes for a fun afternoon to relax, have fun, and catch plenty of sunshine. We also love to travel and like to go scuba diving. Our recent trip was back to Bonaire for some incredible diving. On this trip, we were able to see many spotted filefish that changed color and texture right before our eyes! We are looking forward to many more diving trips - and hopefully will make it to the Cozumel reef next year. Sarah and I have been married for 12 years, and have adopted many dogs in our life. Our new dog, Josie, is about 6 years old and is a hound mix that was adopted from One Love Animal Rescue. She was an abandoned hunting dog, and we have been teaching her “how to be a pet,” by learning the ropes: golf cart rides are a must, please learn to love the water, and yes you can have a walk every day, but please don’t pull. She is a sweetheart and brings joy to our lives.
For my work at Call Chris, there are so many projects that I can do that will be beneficial to the Long Point neighborhood. I can offer installations of small projects such as garbage disposals or hanging curtains, to bigger projects like power washing decks and driveways, or laying out backsplash tiles.
