The Kearns Family’s Love Story with M Streets: A Neighborhood That Feels Like Home

The Keanrs family love the home they have built in M Streets. “We fall in love all over again with the M Streets every day,” Regan Kearns shares. Regan and her husband, Alan, along with eleven-month-old son Geroge, six-year-old cat Ocho, and four-year-old Boxer dog Becks, get to experience a love story with their neighborhood every time they step outside. For any new neighbors, they advise them to go for a walk; “You'll quickly remember how lucky you are to be in such a gorgeous neighborhood!,” they share.

Regan is a stay-at-home mom, where she cares for the entire Kearns family, humans, kittens, and pups alike. Alan is a sales manager at Gartner, a research and advisory firm based in Irving. As a family, the Kearns love going for a family walk. “We look at all the gorgeous houses, run into neighbors, grab a coffee at Corner Market, have a beer at Katy Trail Beer, and play with George at Glencoe Park,” Regan says. “George loves to say hello to all the doggies!”

Out on the town, the Kearns love to go to the arboretum as a family, or head over to the YMCA for a family swim. Their favorite neighborhood restaurant is Mot Hai Ba, and they frequent Glencoe Park for family outings. However, one of their favorite meals is made right at home; Regan’s Paneer and Cauliflower Curry is an undeniable favorite. They are also avid fans of Brentford FC, a professional association football club in the English Premier League.

In essence, the Kearns' love for their neighborhood is resonant in their frequent walks through the neighborhood, admiring the trees and enjoying seeing all the smiling faces of their neighbors. It’s not just the neighborhood that the Kearns enjoy; they are finding places all over the city that speak to them and create a larger communal experience they share with their neighbors, making M Streets a perfect home for the Kearns family.
