From Medicine to Med Spa: Sisters Build Sage and Skin Aesthetics Together

With more than 25 years of combined medical experience, sisters Dipti and Shruti are helping East Dallas clients feel confident through personalized aesthetic care and natural-looking results.

For sisters Dipti and Shruti, opening Sage and Skin Aesthetics wasn’t just about launching a business — it was about creating a space where women could feel confident, cared for, and completely comfortable in their own skin.
The East Dallas duo officially opened their med spa in June 2025, combining more than 25 years of experience as physician assistants with a shared passion for aesthetics and personalized care. While their backgrounds in medicine gave them a strong clinical foundation, their vision for Sage and Skin was always centered on relationships and helping clients feel like the best version of themselves.
The sisters credit much of their drive to their parents, who immigrated from India in 1977 with very little and worked tirelessly to build opportunities for their family. Watching that perseverance firsthand inspired both women to pursue successful careers in medicine before eventually bringing their shared dream to life together.
Dipti earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin before completing her Physician Assistant Studies degree in California, while Shruti received her Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin and later completed her Master’s in Clinical Medical Sciences at Barry University.
Today, Sage and Skin Aesthetics offers services including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, microneedling, IV hydration, medical-grade chemical peels, and weight loss programs. But what truly sets the practice apart is its focus on subtle, natural-looking results and honest conversations with clients.
“We never want anyone to feel pressured,” the sisters shared. “We take time to educate clients, listen to their goals, and make sure they feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.”
That thoughtful approach has earned them glowing reviews and loyal clients, many of whom are first-time aesthetics patients. Clients often describe the clinic as warm, welcoming, and approachable — a reflection of the sisters themselves.
Outside of the clinic, Dipti and Shruti stay active in the community through events with the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and volunteer work with Doodle Dandy Rescue, where they foster dogs and provide medical expertise for rescue animals.
And speaking of dogs, their own pups — Khaleesi, Jax, and Zoey — have become unofficial mascots of the business, bringing balance and joy to the busy life of entrepreneurship.
As Sage and Skin continues to grow, the sisters hope to eventually expand into a larger space while continuing to offer the same personalized care that has quickly made them a trusted name in East Dallas.
Their advice for neighbors? Prioritize self-care.
“Whether it’s with us or in your own way, take time to invest in yourself and do something that helps you look and feel your best.”
