FEBRUARY - The Sloot Family
The Sloot family, John, Andee, their one-year-old daughter Wesley, and pups Gary and Shia, brought their love of travel, community, and adventure to The M Streets in 2022, with another baby girl arriving this April. Rooted in finance careers but fueled by passions like golf, snorkeling, and family explorations, they’re embracing neighborhood life while creating lasting memories together.

MARCH - Fritz Luedke
Fritz Luedke, a longtime Lakewood resident known for his vibrant gardens and loyal companion Big Dog, has built a rich, fulfilling life on Merrimac Avenue after becoming an empty nester. Though his daughter Phyllis now lives on the West Coast, their close bond—nurtured through years of shared adventures—continues to flourish alongside the greenery Fritz lovingly tends.

APRIL - The Kearns Family
The Kearns family, Regan, Alan, baby George, cat Ocho, and Boxer pup Becks, have fallen completely in love with life in the M Streets, where daily walks, friendly faces, and neighborhood charm make every day feel special. Whether strolling to Corner Market, playing at Glencoe Park, or enjoying family adventures around Dallas, they’re building a warm, connected life rooted in community.

MAY - The Webb Family
The Webb family, Justin, Lillian, their kids Evelyn and Parker, and pets Latte and Ripley, love the walkability, activities, and community spirit of the M Streets, where their days are filled with sports, music, school involvement, and outdoor adventures. Rooted in Dallas and active across their neighborhood, they embrace a lively, connected lifestyle that brings them closer to each other and their community.

JUNE - Robert Edsel
Robert Edsel, bestselling author and founder of the Monuments Men and Women Foundation, has spent the last twenty years preserving the overlooked human stories of World War II, work that continues with his powerful new book, Remember Us, which highlights the soldiers and Dutch citizens whose acts of courage and remembrance still echo today. Despite his global impact, Robert remains deeply rooted in his Greenland Hills community, where he advocates for neighbor connection and the local crime watch program while continuing his mission to ensure no sacrifice is forgotten.

JULY - The LaMont Family
The LaMont family, Calvin, Sabrina, and their daughter Journee, have quickly become a lively part of the M Streets, transforming a modest Tudor into a stunning family home while embracing the neighborhood’s spirit of connection. With passions for design, community service, and family traditions, they’re building meaningful roots and contributing to the creativity and warmth that define the area.

AUGUST - Andy Doughty and Steven Reker
Andy Doughty and Steven Reker, design lovers, community builders, and legendary hosts, have made their mark in Greenland Hills through thoughtful renovation, vibrant gatherings, and deep neighborhood connections. After returning to the M Streets, they’ve embraced the area’s charm, cultivating friendships, supporting local causes, and creating a home that reflects both style and heartfelt hospitality.

SEPTEMBER - The Blanchat Family
Leslie and Ben Blanchat, along with their daughter Penelope and dachshund Otto, have embraced the M Streets’ charm and community spirit, filling their days with outdoor fun, SMU sports, and a beloved “Thursday Night Out” tradition. Since moving to Mercedes Avenue in 2024, they’ve built a warm, neighbor-centered life where creativity, connection, and a little joyful chaos define home.

OCTOBER - The Lillback Family
David and Katie Lillback have created a warm, family-centered life in the historic M Streets, sharing their home with their Lagotto Romagnolo, Truff, and staying close to children, grandchildren, and pets nearby. From backyard mornings and estate sale hunts to cheering on grandkids and supporting meaningful causes, they embrace community, connection, and the simple joys that make their neighborhood feel like home.

NOVEMBER - The Carroll Family
The Carroll family, Holland, James, and their son Chris, along with three spirited cats, have fully embraced life in the M Streets, enjoying parks, neighborhood events, and a strong sense of community. From morning walks and local cafés to family traditions and favorite getaways, they treasure the connections, outdoor activities, and simple joys that make their neighborhood feel like home.

DECEMBER - The Graham Family
The Graham family, Andrew, Sophia, their three young children, and two Australian Shepherds, have embraced the M Streets with a spirit of adventure, community connection, and family-centered fun. From front porch chats and neighborhood walks to travel, hobbies, and family gratitude rituals, they cherish both the warmth of their home and the vibrant friendships around them.
